Worth every penny
We must have 6 different peelers and they all are terrible. After reading the reviews on these, I decided to purchase them. It’s like night and day between these and the ones we used to own. We love making butternut squash and both of these styles of peelers slice through the skin like a hot knife through butter. Worth every penny. Peeling potatoes is now enjoyable and I hate being in the kitchen!

Really nice peelers for heavy kitchen work.
Nice and sharp for everyday peeling. Sharp enough to peel kiwis but robust enough to do thicker skins. I haven't tried a hubbard squash yet, but I'm guessing it won't be a problem since I did a bushel of apples and it is still sharp. The handles are nice and wide and have a good grip. Much better than the metal-handled peeler and more sturdy than those with rubber handles. Great deal for the price.

These peelers work really well! Both fit hands comfortably and easy to hold on to. The blades are super sharp (so be careful) and makes peeling various vegetables a breeze.
